Overview
See it in your space before you buy.
Mobilia is a mobile furniture-shopping concept connecting product discovery, an in-room AR preview, and checkout.
As an end-to-end UX/UI designer in a three-person team, I contributed across problem definition, user flows, UI design, prototyping, and usability testing.
The Problem
Will it fit—and feel right—in my room?
Product photos and dimensions leave shoppers to imagine how furniture will look in their space. The challenge was to help them assess size, placement, and appearance before committing to a purchase.
Core Experience
Preview in your room. Then decide.
Mobilia connects product discovery, an in-room AR preview, and checkout. Shoppers can move from a product’s details to viewing it in their space before adding it to their cart.

Testing & Iteration
Task completion didn’t tell the whole story.
Prototype testing informed revisions to the AR and shopping experience. The refinements below focus on drawing attention to the starting action, showing order progress, and confirming when an item has been added.
Design refinements
01 — Make the starting action noticeable
I added a subtle micro-interaction to the Start Scanning button to draw attention to the next action.
02 — Show what happens after purchase
I revised the order confirmation to show order progress, with expandable purchase details available when needed.
03 — Confirm the action. Keep the choice open.
An Added to cart confirmation acknowledges the action and offers two next steps: view the cart or continue shopping.
Outcome & Reflection
A connected shopping concept, with more to validate.
Mobilia brings product discovery, an in-room AR preview, and purchasing into one mobile prototype. My end-to-end design contribution covered the experience from early problem definition through UI, prototyping, and testing.
The next step is to retest the revised interactions and evaluate furniture placement in a working AR experience, where scale accuracy and room detection can be assessed beyond Figma.
